Please Pray for Maria Warner
Most of you have already received this letter from Jyotish and Devi – but some have also asked for a photo, as well.
We are deeply saddened to think of losing our dear sister from our midst, while simultaneously rejoicing for her freedom in God. The picture shows her inner light and strength…
Please pray and visualize Master with her, and uplifting, guiding and supporting her throughout this time.
Thank you for your prayers…
God bless you all.
PS – I am posting Jyotish and Devi’s beautiful letter here, below.
We have some news to share with you about Maria Warner — news that is both sad, but also joyful. On November 14, Devarshi and Maria were in Dallas for a Kriya program. During their stay Maria began experiencing dizziness, headaches, and blurred vision. She gave the Sunday Service talk in Dallas, and Devarshi said it was the best talk he’d ever heard her do. Maria knew right away that she had a brain tumor, so they went to see Maria’s oncologist on Tuesday. The MRI on Wednesday confirmed this.
Jyotish, Durga, and Devi returned to the Village from LA to be here at this time. She probably doesn’t have long to be in the body, but it’s hard to say definitely how long. Her time of transition however is an exalted one. Maria doesn’t want to see people or talk to anyone, so she remains in her bed, drifting in and out of sleep, but one can feel a deep freedom and joy surrounding her. We go over twice a day to meditate and pray for her in their living room, and her sense of cutting off all ties to this world and going deep within to rest in God is thrilling.
Swamiji has been praying for her and said, “She has accomplished so much spiritually and has achieved deep wisdom and maturity.” Then he added, “There are many saints living at Ananda.” We are including a link of what Swamiji said about her during his last satsang on Sunday: http://www.ananda.org/mp3/news/2010-swamiji-speaking-about-maria.mp3
We will let you know as her time to leave this world draws near. Pray for her and join her in this beautiful process of consciously leaving this world.
In Master’s love,
Jyotish and Devi
